Missing Me Yet?

Hello All! I will be away this week and unable to post as often. Please accept this beautiful Mark Eisen Sweater Dress as a reparation and be sure to check back after the 1st.

Karoo Mark Eisen Sweater Dress, $360.00

I know this looks like a regular sweater dress for a whopping $360.00. . .But it is in fact the perfect sweater dress. Pure cashmere, knee-length, slightly belled sleeves, great colors. It can be dressed up with heels for a cocktail party, or dressed down with flat boots for day. This is the perfect dress for winter.

Who says you can’t be warm and sexy? ( Truth be told, I dont think anyone ever said that, but I am confirming that you can. . . be warm and sexy.)

Normally I would warn against the super-trendy skull and crossbones print, but something about this bag (the one on the left that is) begs the exception.

Deals, Steals, and Hints

Its actually happening, I am hinting Payless shoes. It helps that Brazilian-cum-Soho designer Laura Poretzky of Abaete has contributed her designs to the discount brand. This follows the trend of top designers lending their expertise for economic labels. Tara Subkoff for Easy Spirit, Vivienne Westwood for Nine West, Paul and Joe for Target, and the designer du jour for H&M every fall. Just beware of the judgment lapse caused by big labels and low prices. Even the best are fallible. However, these Payless picks are certainly worth a closer look!

Abaete “Oliver” d’orsay Pump, $25.00 (Also available in black satin and white satin with black patent leather toe.)

“Intellect” Patent Round Toe Pump, $17.99 (Also available in black with white trim.)

Act Your Age

This winter store your cowboy boots, use your wellies sparingly, and please please burn your Uggs. Equestrian style boots are clean, classy, timeless, and happen to be a trend for the season. Trust me, you’ll feel so much better with jeans tucked into boots that don’t look like they were pilfered from a seventh grader’s closet.

My job is not only to point out the good, but also to warn of the bad.
I think I would throw-up if I saw someone wearing these shorts. . .Unless it was at a Renaissance Festival. . .Then I would be like, “I dost liketh your pantalons good sir.”
