Its actually happening, I am hinting Payless shoes. It helps that Brazilian-cum-Soho designer Laura Poretzky of Abaete has contributed her designs to the discount brand. This follows the trend of top designers lending their expertise for economic labels. Tara Subkoff for Easy Spirit, Vivienne Westwood for Nine West, Paul and Joe for Target, and the designer du jour for H&M every fall. Just beware of the judgment lapse caused by big labels and low prices. Even the best are fallible. However, these Payless picks are certainly worth a closer look!
